As Principal of Vale of York Academy, I am delighted to introduce you to our school.
Our motto is ‘Always giving the best’. Our aim is for our students to be the best they can be, to flourish academically, develop into responsible, resilient young people who will succeed and make a positive contribution to our community.
As a secondary school which is smaller in size than many others in the city, we get to know and value each and every child, supporting them effectively throughout their time with us.
At Vale of York, each child benefits from a setting where everyone is valued as a unique individual. Our partnership with the Hope Learning Trust and Manor Church of England Academy allows us to share and grow expertise, and retain a breadth of experience for all our children.
We are on a journey of rapid improvement and year on year, our outcomes are rising and our reputation is growing. We have become a school of choice and we’d love the opportunity to show you why.
