As Principal of Vale of York Academy, I am delighted to introduce you to our school.
Our motto is ‘Always giving the best’. Our aim is for our students to be the best they can be, to flourish academically, develop into responsible, resilient young people who will succeed and make a positive contribution to our community.
A massive thank you to Natalie and Fran @Tesco Clifton Moor for their incredibly generous donation to @ValeYorkAcademy Community Food Bank. This is a huge help. If any of our families are struggling at this difficult time, please contact email@example.com to arrange a hamper pic.twitter.com/aAbW…
Tonight’s PE clubs are for year 8/9 bubbles - football and netball. Please remember these start at 3.05 and finish at 4pm. Looking forward to getting back to seeing these pupils in Pe clubs 👍 pic.twitter.com/q2FM…
Fantastic to see that Joe Holland in Year 7 and his brother Harry have won a Community Pride Award for their charity work. Congratulations boys...fully deserved! 👍 @ValeYorkAcademy pic.twitter.com/8QX0…

Vale of York has surpassed our expectations this year (and they were already high). We are glad that our daughter chose to attend a school with such a caring and personalised ethos.

WORKING IN COLLABORATION
The partnership with Hope Learning Trust and, importantly, with Manor Church of England Academy, is significant as it is unique to the schools in York. No other multi-academy trust exists as yet in this area that gives scope for two secondary schools to work in collaboration.
